Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) is a ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. It is a philosophy, a psychology & a physiology all wrapped up in one healing art form, which is why I am passionate about it. It brings balance to the body’s energy system and is believed to be a part of our innate wisdom. It employs 26 safety energy locks along energetic pathways that feed life to our minds, our bodies and our souls. When one or more paths become blocked from any number of stresses, it results in stagnation of energy that disrupts the flow and disharmonizes the entire energy flow. To open and harmonize the body’s energy one simply places their fingertips [over clothing] on the safety energy locks to harmonize and restore the natural energy flow to the body. It is a simple yet profoundly powerful tool that can be used on others, as well as, on yourself. Jin Shin Jyutsu has become an intimate part my life and I simply cannot remember a day when I have not used this tremendous tool for life for my own benefit, as well as, for my clients.
In my experience Resonance Repatterning is ahead of its time. It is an innovative approach to altering the patterns you resonate with, setting you free from the tight hold many unconscious patterns can have on us. It can uproot even the most painful of beliefs that we just don’t know if we can live without even if it is causing us great agony and misery. Resonance Repatterning is based on quantum physics and the understanding that we are energetic beings and everything we experience has a frequency from headaches & stress to joy & success. Whatever frequencies we resonate with- our unconscious patterns- will determine the life we experience. By using modalities like sound, light, color, breath, movement, fragrance…you can change the frequency you resonate with and activate new life giving patterns to live the life you want. I have grown significantly from my study and practice with Resonance Repatterning and utilize it to bring myself and my clients into greater coherence with our true selves as we seek to live the brilliance of who we are.
The Art of Breathing
When was the last time you caught yourself holding your breath or you had to stop and catch your breath? When was the last time you needed of a bit of breathing room or found yourself unable to take a deep breath? We all know that breathing is essential to life. But did you know that we can live up to a month without food, a week without water, three to four days without sleep, but only three to four minutes without breathing? All the cells in our body require oxygen. Without it, they couldn’t move, build, reproduce and turn food into energy. Our inhalation brings in fresh oxygen needed to fuel our cells and our exhalation releases the waste products our body cannot make use of and if not expelled would be toxic. So we agree…breathing is not optional. And yet we give little to no attention to this vital life force. All too often, we find ourselves holding our breath and stifling the flow of life within us. Our breath nourishes our bodies, our minds and ultimately our souls. Breathing is about giving and receiving…each breath connecting us with the world around us and reminding us that we are not alone. So I share with you some of the many ancient breathing techniques that when done mindfully can transform your life- simply and profoundly bringing you into Sync: Body* Mind* Soul.
Throughout World History, essential oils have played a prominent role in everyday life. Dating as far back as 4500 BC. these oils were used for physical, as well as, spiritual needs. Our olfactory centers are connected to the part of our brains that most closely associate with our memories and our emotions. Even a whiff of baked apples sweeps me back in time to my neighbor’s home and the sweet smell and delectable taste of her homemade applesauce. Aroma therapy can become a tremendous tool to open pathways within our brain, as well as, within our emotions to bring about greater peace, centeredness and healing. Essential oils are distilled from scrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes and seeds. They are highly potent in that they come from the most powerful part of the plant. I use these oils in my Tools for Life to support my self and my clients in our journey towards health and well being as we seek to come into SYNC- Body* Mind* Soul.
